As of July 2006, concerning movie projects, King has been contacted by a screenplay writer in London, who is a pro writer and is supposed to be close to having something for King to read. We don’t know if he’s been held up or something, but King is supposed to get something very short that is the first edition of a treatment. Even though the story with the more potential would be "Them" / "Conspiracy", the story involved now would be "The Puppet Master". This guy working over there, if he can do a treatment and King can have some comments that they can agree on, he will start working on a screenplay. Otherwise, if it’s not something they can all agree on, or if they feel it doesn’t really capture everything, then they'll just drop it and see if there is someone else King can work with another time, but if it turns out he's on the same page, then the lawyer will get it a few months later and they'll see. Although nothing is done yet, all the following things are just plans at the moment: comic books from King's horror stories and maybe a horror novel, movies for TV or real theatrical releases, a video game, and also, an autobiography. Once again, I want to specify that nothing is for certain at this point, but King will going to keep on trying until something happens. And on his grave he will write as the epitaph: "See you in the next life!... "Until then, long live to the King of Kings... Written by Andy Allen.
