Minnie Mouse is hot!

« on: July 28, 2010, 07:07:27 PM »

...has anyone ever heard King confirm this?  I never thought of this, and am not sure how I feel about the assessment.  I mean, Mother and Dr. L are the only two "really" left.

"Six Feet Under"
Is an alternate chapter—a cut scene from Conspiracy and references from Them telling what would have happened differently if King's mother and his sociopath therapist Doctor Landau had buried him alive in a glass coffin so they (along with his family) could watch him suffer in agony and perish, while his sister Missy kicks dirt in his face, laughing at his pain. His "family" mentioned in the song are: Grandma, King's mother, his sister Missy, his grandfather, etc.

Wow. That sounds crazy. However i don't see how that ending would ever have fitted the story. I guess only Livia and King knows this

I was just curious if I missed something and this was common knowledge, or if this particular wiki-author needs a good cyber bitch slap.

Possible: But I have seen so much mis-information about King on Wikipedia it isn't even funny.

True, but they usually require citation and claim that they police it.

Not that I have read the wiki page on King recently, but I have always thought something like that about the song Six Feet Under. It makes sense. An alternate fate for King from the horror of Amon. But I have always felt that the Spider's Lullabye is a follow-up to the Eye. Not a sequel. But a connected set of short stories that the Eye experiences and presents to its' victims. Apart from the Spider's Lullabye story itself, one could speculate that the other songs might reference past KD/MF songs and/or albums. The Poltergeist gives me the impression it's an extension of a MF song from DBtO, but I can't quite put my finger on which song it might be...

Some guy on the old forum wrote an entire essay on the characters of the King Diamond albums. According to him (I really forgot who it was!) it's the same 2 people in different timeframes and situations. It all made a lot of sense. If anyone saved it, it would be a good idea to repost!

I always felt that Six Feet Under was like said before ,an alternate Ending... The first time I heard this song I thought that...Maybe a clue is in the lyrics "What a nice CONSPIRACY". Maybe this was how it was all going to play out and King dropped the idea & this was his way of letting us see a touch of the original story to Them & Conspiracy. BUT I am most likely wrong...

I guess every thread should have an obligatory "let's ask Livia or King" response, huh?

I always thought that it would be good to get a team from this site to clean up the King Diamond (Band), King Diamond, and Mercyful Fate pages on Wikipedia.  I think it would be really cool if there was a whole section devoted to the makeup changes over the years.  The black and red makeup from the Abigail days, the censored makeup for MTV, etc.

I don't know if you guys actually noticed it, but Missy DIES in the middle of Them. Yes, she reappears in Conspiracy as a ghost, but only to send King a dream. She never shows up to Landau or mother. They DONT believe in Missy's ghost OR Them. So how can they even convince her to throw dirt at King if they believe she has been dead for years?

This explanation isn't definitive. It's just speculation. It could be an alternate story to "THEM". Keywords: alternate and could be...

I always thought it might be like that, but you know, Missy had been dead long before the conspiracy happened, so... I think it's kinda King's sense of humor. Just like in LOA House "this is no Abigail, this child will survive" and in Miriam "you can even call me Lucy for it's just a name"
